Removal & Disassembly
- Remove cover from top of strut in luggage compartment. Remove actuator mounting bolts. Remove actuator. Remove piston rod upper lock nut. Remove actuator bracket. Loosen (do not remove) piston rod lower lock nut. Remove upper strut assembly-to-body nuts.
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly. Remove lower strut assembly mounting bolt. Remove strut from vehicle. Clamp strut securely in a soft-jawed vise. Compress coil spring. Remove piston rod lower lock nut. Remove remaining components and coil spring.
