Actuator Test: 929

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Cycle selection switch between SOFT and SPORT positions. Verify that shaft of actuator in front and rear struts is operating. If actuator operation is not verified, place ignition switch in ON position. Disconnect actuator connector from actuator that does not operate.
  2. Attach positive voltmeter lead to terminal "A" and negative lead to terminal "C" of harness side of actuator connector. Select SPORT setting on AAS switch. Voltmeter should indicate 12 volts for one second.
  3. Attach positive voltmeter lead to terminal "C" and negative lead to terminal "B" of harness side of actuator connector. Select SOFT setting on AAS switch. Voltmeter should indicate 12 volts for one second. If voltage is normal, replace actuator. See Fig 1 .
