Road Test

Check for shift shock, positive shifts, shift through all ranges. Kickdown within kickdown limits. Shift "D3" to "D2" manually, shift should take place immediately and engine braking is present. Shift "D3" to "D1", downshift in order "D3", "L2" to "L1" with engine braking. No upshift from "1". In "2" position, no upshift from "2". "P" locks firmly. Compare with ROAD TEST SPECIFICATIONS charts. See Fig 1-Fig 9 . If upshifts and downshifts are not as specified, see ROAD TEST EVALUATION chart for possible cause.
