Speed Sensor

Connect voltmeter between terminal 1P and ground on F4A-EL, G4AX-EL and G4A-EL (1988-89). On G4A-EL (1990) between terminal 1Q and ground. Turn ignition on, remove speedometer cable from transmission and turn speedometer cable one turn. Ensure approximately 7 volts on F4A-EL and G4AX-EL and 4.5 volts on G4A-EL shows 4 times during each revolution. See CONTROL UNIT CONNECTORS charts. See Figure- Figure .
