ATF THERMOSWITCH (G4A-El & G4AX-El)

Remove ATF thermoswitch from transmission. Place switch in oil with a thermometer and heat gradually. Check continuity of 2 terminals. See Fig 1. Temperatures below 289° F, ohmmeter will show no continuity. Temperatures above 302° ± 37° F, ohmmeter will show continuity. If necessary replace switch.
