Disc & Drum: Description

NOTE: For information on anti-lock brake system, see ANTI-LOCK BRAKES article.

All models use hydraulic-operated brake system with a tandem master cylinder and a power brake unit. A dual proportioning valve (MX-6, Protege, 323 & 626) or proportioning by-pass valve (B2200, B2600i, Miata, MPV, RX7 & 929) regulates fluid pressure to front and rear brakes.
