Disassembly & Reassembly

If one way clutch was found to be defective during transmission disassembly, remove each snap ring. See Fig 1 . Remove OD one-way clutch. Inspect one-way sprag and contacting surfaces. Replace components (as necessary). To reassemble, reverse removal procedure. With OD one-way clutch reassembled, ensure one-way clutch rotates smoothly clockwise and will not rotate counterclockwise.
