Stall Speed Test: Testing

Firmly depress foot brake with engine running. Select "R" range and depress accelerator pedal to floor. When engine speed no longer increases read RPM on tachometer and release accelerator pedal. Perform stall test on 323 (1990) in "R" , "D", "S" and "L". Perform stall test on 626 (1988-90) in "R", "D", "D" Hold, "S" Hold, "L" and "L" Hold. Compare RPM with STALL SPEED chart.
