Stall Speed Test: Preparation
Check and adjust coolant, engine oil and ATF levels. Warm engine and transmission to operating temperature. Block front and rear wheels on both sides. Set parking brake. Connect tachometer to engine.
CAUTION:
Stall test generates high temperatures in ATF and engine oil and coolant. DO NOT hold throttle open at stall speed more than 5 seconds and allow engine to idle for one minute to cool fluids between each test.
