Suspension - Rear: Description
Rear suspension consists of MacPherson type struts, crossmember, trailing arms and laterally mounted links. Some models are equipped with Automatic Adjusting Suspension (AAS). For information on this system, see appropriate ELECTRONIC SUSPENSION article in this section.
Trailing arm attaches to wheel hub. Lateral links attach to crossmember and wheel hub. A stabilizer bar is mounted to front lateral links and crossmember. On 4WD models, rear lateral link is adjustable. Rear wheel alignment is adjusted by turning star wheels mounted on lateral link assemblies.
