Speed Sensor

The Mazda AAS speed sensor checks speedometer cable revolution and generates electrical pulses sent to the control unit. These pulsations are counted by the control unit to determine vehicle speed. As an anti-roll function, the speed sensor works in conjunction with the angle sensor to report fast turn situations to the control unit so that the "SPORT" mode can be activated.
