Disassembly (MX-6 & 626)

  1. Remove retainer and dust seal. Remove piston seal and snap ring. Using Brake Piston Wrench (49 FA18 602), turn piston counterclockwise and remove. Remove stopper, "O" ring, adjuster spindle and connecting link.
  2. Remove guide pins and boots. Remove spring, nut, spindle lever, boot and bracket. Press needle bearing from housing. See Figure .
