Temperature Gauge
NOTE:
Temperature gauge sending units have single-blade connectors and are located on or near thermostat housings.
- Disconnect temperature gauge sending unit connector. Connect Red lead of Checker (49 0839 285) to connector terminal and checker Black lead to body ground. See Fig 1 .
- Set checker to test resistance. See Fig 1 . See appropriate TEMPERATURE GAUGE RESISTANCE table. If number of segments lit does not agree with table, replace gauge.
