Temperature Gauge

NOTE: Temperature gauge sending units have single-blade connectors and are located on or near thermostat housings.
  1. Disconnect temperature gauge sending unit connector. Connect Red lead of Checker (49 0839 285) to connector terminal and checker Black lead to body ground. See Fig 1 .
  2. Set checker to test resistance. See Fig 1 . See appropriate TEMPERATURE GAUGE RESISTANCE table. If number of segments lit does not agree with table, replace gauge.
