Fuel Gauge
- Remove connector from fuel gauge sending unit at tank and install Checker (49 0839 285). Attach Red lead of checker to connector terminal. Attach checker Black lead to body ground. Set resistance to values shown in appropriate FUEL GAUGE RESISTANCE chart.
- Turn ignition switch to "ON" position and ensure accurate number of segments display. Continue test for 2 minutes per segment. Always cycle ignition switch from "OFF" position to "ON" position before each test. If segments DO NOT match resistance values, replace gauge. See appropriate FUEL GAUGE RESISTANCE table.
