626 (Except 4-Wheel Steering Model)

Disconnect fuel tank unit connector. Remove fuel tank sending unit from fuel tank. Connect an ohmmeter to terminal "B" of connector and ground. With float at full raised position, resistance should be 1-5 ohms. At mid-range position, resistance should be approximately 29-56 ohms. With float lowered to empty position, ohmmeter should register 104-117 ohms.
