626 (4-Wheel Steering Model)

Remove fuel tank sending unit and disconnect sending unit connector. Connect an ohmmeter between connector terminal "D" and sending unit cover. With float at full raised position, resistance should be 1-2 ohms. At mid-range position, resistance should be approximately 17-32 ohms. With float lowered to empty position, ohmmeter should register 52-58 ohms.
