Temperature Gauge

  1. Remove temperature sending unit wire connector. Connect Red lead of Checker (49 0839 285) to terminal of connector. Connect Black lead of checker to body ground. SeeFig 1 .
  2. Set checker to test resistance. SeeFig 1 . See specification under TEMPERATURE GAUGE RESISTANCE TABLES  . If amount of segments that light up do not agree, replace gauge.
