Brake Fluid Pressure Switch
- Located below the master cylinder, the brake fluid pressure switch can be tested by confirming continuity. Detach the switch connector and apply ohmmeter probes to both terminals. Continuity should exist when brake pedal is depressed. If not, proceed to step 2).
- Disconnect control unit wire connector. Apply ohmmeter probes between terminal "E" and ground. Continuity should exist when brake pedal is depressed. If no continuity exists, and switch tests satisfactorily, inspect wire harness for short or open circuit.
