- Confirm continuity between the switch terminals with the accelerator pedal 3/4 depressed. If continuity exists, switch tests okay. Proceed to step 2) to test wire harness.
- Detach control unit connector and place ohmmeter probes between terminal "F" and ground. See Figure . Continuity should exist with accelerator pedal 3/4 depressed. If continuity does not exist and switch tests satisfactorily, inspect wire harness for a short or open circuit.
