Rear Disc Brake Caliper: Inspection
- Clean all parts in brake fluid or alcohol. Air dry parts. Inspect caliper bore and piston for scratches, scoring or rust. Remove minor damage by polishing with crocus cloth.CAUTION: Never use gasoline or kerosene when cleaning caliper parts.
- Inspect needle roller bearing for or damage. Inspect boots for damage. Inspect spring for weakness or damage. Replace as necessary.
