Disc & Drum: Description

The brake system on all models is hydraulically-operated, using a tandem master cylinder and a power brake unit. All models have front disc brakes. Rear disc brakes are standard on the RX7 and optional 323 and 626. All others have rear drum brakes, with automatic adjuster. On all other models, a proportioning valve is used to prevent premature lock-up of the rear wheels.
