Pedal Height & Stoplight Switch

Pedal height is measured from firewall to pedal pad center. On 626, remove blower duct. Loosen stoplight switch lock nut and turn switch until correct pedal height is obtained. Adjust pedal free play. Tighten stoplight switch lock nut.
On all other models, loosen lock nut on stoplight switch and move switch away from pedal. Loosen push rod lock nut and turn rod until correct pedal height is obtained. Adjust free play and tighten push-rod lock nut. Position stoplight switch so it contacts the pedal and turn an additional 1/2 turn. Tighten stoplight switch lock nut and connect electrical plug.
