Overhaul - "F", "G" & "H"-Type (Fwd): Description

The transaxle combines a 4 or 5-speed transmission, a differential and a clutch housing into an integral drivetrain. This unit is designed for a transverse engine, FWD vehicle. All gear assemblies are supported by tapered roller bearings with preload being adjusted by shims. Helical cut gears are used and adjustment of gear tooth contact is not necessary.
