Suspension - Electronic: Operation

The Automatic Shock Absorber system uses gas-charged shock absorbers with a control rod and a selector valve built into the piston rod. An electric actuator is located on the upper end of the control rod to adjust the shocks. The control rod is connected to a selector valve which adjusts to the "SPORT" or "NORMAL" setting by switching oil passage orifices to alter damping.
