Power Brake Unit: Inspection

Clean all parts and blow dry with compressed air. Inspect all rubber parts for cuts, nicks, deterioration or other damage. Check power piston for cracks, distortion, chipping, and damaged seats. Inspect front and rear shells for scratches, scores, pits, dents or other damage. Replace any defective parts.
