Low & Reverse Brake: Inspection

Check friction, steel, and retaining plate surfaces for wear, scoring, or other damage and replace parts as required. See Fig 1 . Friction plate thickness should be .075-.081" (1.90-2.05 mm) with maximum wear limit at .071" (1.8 mm). Inspect piston release spring for distortion or cracks and replace as necessary. Check piston for damage and replace as necessary.
