High-Reverse (Front) Clutch: Inspection
- Check friction plates for wear and damage. Standard thickness is .059-.065" (1.5-1.7 mm). Replace if wear exceeds .055" (1.4 mm). Check snap ring for wear, weak, wrapped or broken and replace if necessary.
- Check springs for any signs of defect and replace as necessary. Check operation of check ball in piston by applying air pressure to inlet and outlet. Air should flow through one direction only.
