Reassembly (RX7)

  1. Install spring, accumulator piston, accumulator plug and snap ring. Apply even pressure on piston to avoid seal ring damage. Check accumulator operation by applying air pressure to the oil passage.
  2. Install oil pump on Center Tool Set (49 S019 OAO), and mount overdrive case on oil pump. Install one-way valve and steel ball. Install drum support on overdrive case and align matching marks made at disassembly.
  3. Install Pins (49 S019 004), and tighten drum support mounting bolts to 61-78 INCH lbs. (7-9 N.m). Remove pins and center tool.
