Disassembly (Except RX7)

Inspect drum support bushing and ring groove areas for wear. Remove drum support and gasket from overdrive case. Remove retaining pin using a .059-.071" (1.5-1.8 mm) punch. DO NOT remove from contacting face side.
Remove overdrive cancel valve and spring. Remove fiber lubrication plug from drum support. See Fig 1 . Remove one-way plug from overdrive case. See Fig 2 .
