Band Servo Piston: Reassembly

  1. Coat all parts with clean ATF and reassemble in reverse order of disassembly. Apply air pressure to oil hole on servo piston apply side to ensure proper operation.
  2. Back off 3 attaching bolts slightly and apply compressed air to oil hole on servo release side. If retainer rises by same amount as bolts are backed off, release is normal. Tighten bolts.
