Band Servo Piston: Inspection
- Discard "O" rings and seals. Check parts for wear, scoring or breakage. Inspect return spring for adequate tension. Inspect brake band lining for excessive wear or damage. Replace parts as necessary.
- On RX7, 2nd band servo models, check return and cushion spring. Free length on return spring should be 1.52" (38.7 mm). Free length for cushion spring should be 1.69" (42.8 mm). Replace as necessary.
