Description & Operation

Electronic instrument panels for 323 and 626 models are optional. They are equipped with microcomputer operated electronic instrument gauges. The speedometers use a colored Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) for display of vehicle speed. Tachometer on 626 models use Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) for a zone indication of engine RPM. All 323 models use a LCD for RPM readings as well as speedometer. Fuel and temperature gauges use fluorescent display to indicate status of their systems. A rheostat is provided to regulate adjustment of display brightness.
