Governor Valve Assembly: Reassembly

  1. Coat all parts with clean ATF and reassemble in reverse order of disassembly. Be careful not to confuse primary valve and secondary valve.
  2. Primary governor spring has free length of .858" (21.8 mm) and outer coil diameter of .345" (8.8 mm).
  3. Secondary governor spring has free length of .783" (19.9 mm) and outer coil diameter of .362" (9.2 mm). Install and tighten governor attaching bolts.
