Direct Clutch & High-Reverse Clutch: Disassembly

Remove snap ring and take out retaining plate, lined plates, steel plates, and dished plate. See Fig 1. Compress clutch springs with a compressor tool and remove coil spring snap ring. Remove compressor tool, then remove spring retainer and springs. Remove front clutch piston by applying compressed air into oil hole.
