Removal (1490 cc FWD & 1970 cc)

Remove oil pan. Remove oil pump sprocket and detach chain from sprocket. Remove oil pump from cylinder block. Remove pump cover. Note and record positions of index marks on rotors. Extract shaft and rotors. See Fig 1 and Figure.
