Check vertical play of ball joints. If vertical play exceeds 0.091" (2.3 mm) on 2-WD Pickup, replace ball joints (upper and/or lower). If vertical play exceeds 0.098" (2.5 mm) on all other models, lower arm with ball joint must be replaced. See Toyota in SUSPENSION Section.
