Later vehicles, 1969 and later, use engine codes as follows:

Application (1) Engine Code
1098 cc 10CC, 10CG
1275 cc 12CD, 12CJ, 12CC, 12CE, 12V
(1) Engine codes with letters "H" or "L" indicate high or low compression ratio. "H" = 8.8-1 and "L" = 8.0-1. Codes with letters "EEC" indicate exhaust emission controls. Codes with letters "ELC" indicate evaporative loss control.
