Front Active Park Assist Sensors: Removal

  1. Remove the front wheel and tire assembly. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
  2. Remove the front fender molding. Refer to: Front Fender Molding .
  3. Remove the fender liner to radiator closeout screws.

    Torque: 13 lb.in (1.5 Nm)

  4. NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.

    Remove the Pin-type retainers and nuts from the front of the fender liner.

    Torque: Fender liner nuts: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

  5. Position the fender liner aside.

  6. Remove the front active park assist sensor.

    1. Disconnect the front active park assist electrical connector.
    2. Release the tabs.
    3. Remove the front active park assist sensor from the bracket.
