DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition HUD U3000:04 Control Module: System Internal Failures Sets when the HUD module detects and EEPROM failure. HUD U3000:41 Control Module: General Checksum Failure Sets in the HUD module when module memory fails. HUD U3000:42 Control Module: General Memory Failure Sets in the HUD module when module RAM hardware fails. HUD U3000:47 Control Module: Watchdog/Safety μC Failure Sets in the HUD module when an internal module failure is detected. HUD U3000:49 Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure Sets in the HUD module when an internal module failure is detected. Possible Sources

- U1 RETRIEVE HUD (HEAD UP DISPLAY) MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the HUD module self-test.
Is U3000:04, U3000:41, U3000:42, U3000:47 or U3000:49 recorded?
Yes INSTALL a new HUD module. REFER to: Head Up Display (HUD) Module . No The system is operating correctly at this time.
