Steering Wheel Switch - Message Center

The IPC and message center functions are controlled with the upper RH steering wheel switch, through the IPC message center menu. The RH steering wheel switch connects to the SIMA (LH steering wheel switch connector). The SIMA is connected to the SCCM (without adaptive steering) or SASM (with adaptive steering) through private CAN circuits. The SCCM or SASM receives the switch signals from the SIMA over the private CAN, then sends the switch signals to the IPC through the GWM over the HS-CAN3 to operate the message center.
