Power Transfer Unit Cooler - Vehicles With: Power Transfer Unit Oil-to-Coolant Cooler: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview
2. If equipped, remove the underbody shield.

3. Remove the LH and RH exhaust flexible pipe. Refer to: Exhaust Flexible Pipe 2.7L EcoBoost
4. Remove the roll restrictor RH. Refer to: Roll Restrictor RH
5. Clamp the hoses.

6. Release the hose clamps and position aside the PTU cooling system hoses.

7. NOTE: Be prepared to catch escaping fluid.

   Remove the nuts and PTU cooler.

   Torque

   : 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
