Main Control Valve Body: Removal

  1. Remove the main control cover. Refer to: Main Control Cover  .
  2. Disconnect the OSS sensor electrical connector.

    1. Slide the locking tab.
    2. While pressing the tab disconnect the OSS electrical connector.

  3. Unlock and disconnect the TR sensor electrical connector.

  4. Disconnect the bulkhead electrical connector.

    1. Slide the locking tab.
    2. While pressing the tab disconnect the bulkhead electrical connector.

  5. Remove the transmission wiring harness bolts.

  6. NOTE: Note the location of the short and long main control valve body bolts for assembly.

    Remove the main control valve body bolts. Remove the main control valve body and transmission wiring harness assembly.
