Muffler and Tailpipe: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
NOTE: Excessive bending of the exhaust flexible pipe may cause damage resulting in failure.

Secure both LH and RH exhaust flexible pipe.

AWD vehicles: Loosen the clamp, detach the exhaust isolators and remove the muffler and tailpipe.
