Power Transfer Unit Coolant Pump: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview
- If equipped, remove the underbody shield.
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling And Bleeding .
- Disconnect the auxiliary pump connector and retainers.
- Release the clamps and disconnect the hoses.
- Remove the nuts and the PTU coolant pump.
Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
