Throttle Body: Installation

NOTE:
Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
- Inspect the throttle body gasket, clean and replace the throttle body gasket as needed.
- Install the throttle body, then install and tighten the throttle body bolts.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

NOTE: When connecting the throttle body electrical connector engage the red connector locking tab after fully installing the throttle body electrical connector. The red tab will not slide forward unless the throttle body electrical connector is fully installed.
Connect the throttle body electrical connector and then attach the throttle body harness retainer.

NOTE: The charge air cooler outlet tube must be seated within 0.079 in (2 mm) of the hose stop.
Install the charge air cooler outlet tube, then tighten the charge air cooler outlet tube clamp.
Torque: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)
- Install the engine appearance cover, then install and tighten the engine appearance cover retainers.
Torque: 1: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm) 2: 93 lb.in (10.5 Nm)
