Intermediate Shaft Seal: Installation

NOTE: The seal is correctly installed if it is flush with the transfer case cover.
Using the special tools, install a new intermediate shaft seal. Use Special Service Tool: 307-256 (T92P-77000-FH) Installer, Differential Fluid Seal. , 205-907 Handle, 32 Driver.
- Install the PTU support bracket and the PTU support bracket bolts.
Torque: PTU support bracket to block: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm) PTU support bracket to PTU: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)
- Install the RH halfshaft. Refer to: Front Halfshaft RH .
