Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
- Unable to engage gear 1
  - Check the transmission fluid level. REFER to: Transmission Fluid Level Check .
  - Check line pressure. REFER to: Transmission Line Pressure Test .
  - Check the forward clutch for damage or wear. REFER to: Forward Clutch Assembly .
