Engine Mount: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
Remove the degas bottle. Refer to: Degas Bottle .
Remove the retainers and the underbody shield.

NOTE: Failure to position the wood block and floor jack as illustrated can result in damage to the oil pan.

Support the engine with a floor jack and a wooden block. Use the General Equipment: Wooden BlockUse the General Equipment: Trolley Jack

1. Remove the nut.
2. Detach the 2 engine appearance cover grommets from the ball studs and remove the engine appearance cover.
3. If the engine appearance cover stud bolt is loosened or removed, it must be installed/tightened into the valve cover.
  Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

Loosen the clamps and remove the upper CAC outlet pipe.
Torque: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)

Detach the retainers and position the wiring harness and coolant hose aside.

1. Remove and discard the engine mount-to-engine nuts.
2. Remove and discard the engine mount-to-frame nut.
3. Remove and discard the engine mount-to-frame bolts.
4. Remove the engine mount.
