Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Sensor: Removal

NOTE:
During engine repair procedures, cleanliness is extremely important. Any foreign material, including any material created while cleaning gasket surfaces, that enters the oil passages, coolant passages or the oil pan, can cause engine failure.
NOTE:

- Remove the nut.
Torque: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm)
- Detach the 2 engine appearance cover grommets from the ball studs and remove the engine appearance cover.
- If the engine appearance cover stud bolt is loosened or removed, it must be installed/tightened into the valve cover.
Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
- Remove the nut.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the upper RH air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe RH .
- Remove the retainers and the underbody shield.
- Loosen the clamp and position the lower RH air cleaner outlet pipe away from the turbocharger.
Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
- Release the clamps and disconnect the tubes. Remove the bolt from the lower air cleaner outlet pipe and position aside.
Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
- Loosen the clamp and separate the RH CAC intake upper pipe and position aside.
Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
- Disconnect the EOP sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the EOP sensor.
Torque: 24 lb.ft (33 Nm)
