Pinpoint Test C : DTCS P07F2, P07F3, P07F4: Notes
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Refer to TRANSMISSION CONTROLS - 6F50/6F55 for schematic and connector information.
Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The GSM and the TRCM communicate on the HS-CAN but use a redundant PWM hard wired system as a backup. If the HS-CAN system fails the GSM and TRCM communicate via this hard wired system.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| P07F2 | Transmission Range Control Module Communication Circuit | The GSM detects a voltage signal out of calibrated range. |
| P07F3 | Transmission Range Control Module Communication Circuit Low | The GSM detects a voltage low signal. Circuit shorted to ground. |
| P07F4 | Transmission Range Control Module Communication Circuit High | The GSM detects a voltage high signal. Circuit open or shorted to power. |
